School Age Programs

Students from many schools in Lorain County attend the Little Lighthouse Learning Center School-Age Programs for children in kindergarten through eleven years of age.

After-School Care: is Monday through Friday, 2:15pm until 6:00pm. Students have an opportunity to socialize, explore the various learning centers in the classrooms, have snack and receive homework help. Whenever the weather permits, the students play and do other fun activities outside.

Schools-Out Days: Full-day childcare is available when a studentユs school is closed for any reason. We offer USDA approved breakfast, lunch and two snacks. Fun, social and educational activities are planned for the children.

Summer Day Camp: Starting in June, we have literacy based day camp for school-age students. Running Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Children do a wide variety of on and off-site activities.

Families may qualify for child care assistance through
Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

It is recommended that parents register their child far in advance for the Summer Camp program. We have a limited number of spaces.

Literacy Based Summer Camp begins June 11 - August 17, 2018
Each Student will receive a book each week for 10 weeks!
